which is honored as the global telecommunication industry 

"Olympic", was held in Hong Kong, for the first time outside of 

Geneva, Swiss. The world telecommunication exhibition has 

provided a unique platform for the global telecommunication 

corporations to exchange ideas and products. Based on our 

development strategy of "root in China, stride to world, 

increase industrial contacts, strengthen technological cooperation", 

our company organized a 20-crew team chosen from the products 

planning department, sales and marketing department to attend this 

exhibition.

On December 2nd, we arrived at Hong Kong. Our Hong Kong 

coworkers, Sylvia and Ady welcomed us and gave us their great 

hospitality.

According to the exhibition agenda, the opening ceremony is on 

the 3rd of December. We believe this will be a good opportunity

 and great experience for us. Therefore, we went to the exhibition 

committee for registration much ahead of time, and waited at the 

conference room for this historical moment. At 17:30, ITU Telecom 

World 2006 opening ceremony was started, which featured by the 

speeches made by Mr Wu Bangguo, Chairman of the Standing Committee 

of the National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China, the 

Mr Donald Tsang, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative 

Region and Mr Yoshio Utsumi, Secretary-General of the ITU along with 

Nobel peace prize winner Professor Muhammed Yunus.
